Message	Flight from SYR to LAX is about $250. Not bad. According to site, renting 14' UHaul plus trailer is ~$2300 plus around $1k for gas. Plus lodging along the way, ~$300. I could sell or leave the Civic here. All told, ~$4k. New idea for the masses: ship Z via a reputable service, use UHaul UBox pod thing for my stuff, and fly. UBox $1700. Ship Z: 1200. Flight: $250. But I would be sacrificing a bike, unless I shipped it too, which would probably be another grand. So without the bike, ~3k. Saving a grand, sacrificing a bike, but not having to drive a trailer and a car 3000 miles in the winter. Headaches!
